Lyndall McKee was encouraged to embark on career as an artist by an award she received as a young teenager – the prestigious certificate of Merit in the Department of Education’s “Exhibitor of Child Art”. From this promising beginning she spent over 40 years studying, practicing, exhibition and teaching her craft.

She started her career as junior to prominent illustrators Jenny Sages and Jon Hawley, progressing to senior positions as a visualize and illustrator for many of Sydney’s leading advertising agencies.

This has given her a sound understanding of the elements of graphic design and the creative process as it applies to the commercial world.

Lyndall’s work is now centered on painting in watercolour and mixed media. She has exhibited widely, including two solo exhibitions.

With the experience gained form a lifetime of studying art – both full and part time – Lyndall has turned to teaching and now enjoy passing on her love of Art to her students. She has t aught illustration, drawing and visual techniques in graphic design to diploma level and currently conducts popular watercolour classes at a community college.
